We moved! Two days ago we were finally moved to a self contained house - meaning that we now have our very own shower thingy. I'll post some pictures of the interior pretty soon.

Trip to Arua (cont.) This is Petrus :-) He is the one who drove all the way to Arua and back again. For those who don't know him: He's also 19, from South Africa and he works here also voluntarily for a couple of months (probably until the end of december) 

Our Trip to Arua
On Sunday morning we left for Arua, Uganda. The reason for our trip was the very car we were driving with: It had to be fixed, but the mechanic who drove down with us, assured us that we would get down safely. We believed him and off we went. The first picture was taken somewhere between Yei and the border in Kaya.

Finally another update :) We arrived here safely in Yei on thursday. Since then we spent time trying to familiarise ourselves with the climate, food and the people here. Today was also our first african service - it was quite an experience, but a good one. Tomorrow morning we'll drive to a small town, a couple of kilometers away, to help organize stuff for a bible school. The next time we have internet access I'll try to upload some pictures of Sudan.
